double barreled bourbon bottle

Prichard's Double Barreled Bourbon

The high-quality taste of Benjamin Prichard’s Double Barrel Bourbon is no accident. Our bourbon is created using a unique, labor intensive process. Bourbon is generally barreled at a relatively high 125 proof. However, the final bottle proof may be as low as 80. Our bourbon is taken from 120 proof to 95 proof and re-barreled in new charred oak barrels to reinforce the barrel notes that bourbon is so famous for. To our knowledge there is no other distillery that utilizes this process. Benjamin Prichard’s Double Barreled Bourbon is truly special and has captured the attention of our customers who are virtually demanding that we produce more of this remarkable bourbon.

lincoln county lightning bottle

Prichard's Lincoln County Lightning

At one of our first public tastings of Lincoln County Lightning, a little old lady gleefully described the taste of her first sip, “It’s just like cornbread in a bottle…with a kick.” There’s no denying the wonderful sweet flavor of white corn, which serves as an integral part of the mash bill for Lincoln County Lightning. Our corn whiskey is straight out of the still, bold yet surprisingly mellow, and recently named the #2 legal moonshine in the USA by Southern Living. A true testament to Tennessee and its famous white corn, Benjamin Prichard’s Lincoln County Lightning is sure to put a pep in your step.

Prichard's Tennessee Whiskey

Currently Aging

Benjamin Prichard’s Tennessee Whiskey is distilled in the style of the traditional Tennessee Whiskey made by our fifth generation grandfather, Benjamin Prichard. His Tennessee Whiskey was made with white corn instead of the traditional yellow corn used in most Bourbons and Tennessee Whiskeys in the early 1800s. This subtle difference enriches our whiskeys with a touch of sweetness that we have become well known for. Our Tennessee Whiskey is a one-of-a-kind spirit, in that we are the only Tennessee Whiskey exempt from the required charcoal mellowing process. We take great pride in this fantastic spirit and hope you will enjoy a Tennessee Whiskey worthy of it’s name.
