Whiskey Recipes

Lincoln County Lightning Recipes

MOUNT 'N RITA ™

  • 1-1/2 oz Lincoln County Lightning
  • 1 oz Sweet Lucy or Triple Sec
  • 1 oz fresh lime juice
  • Splash of your favorite Margarita mix

Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Shake well. If desired, salt or sugar the rim of a chilled margarita glass. Pour contents into the glass. Garnish with the lime wedge.

CORN ON THE COLLINS

  • 2 oz. Lincoln County Lightning
  • 1-1/2 oz. lemon juice
  • 1 oz. simple syrup
  • 2-1/2 oz. club soda

Build in a highball glass with ice and stir.
Garnish with a lemon wheel.

LINCOLN COUNTY CITRUS

  • 1-1/2 oz. of Lincoln County Lightning
  • 1/2 oz. Cointreau
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 oz. of simple syrup

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well. Strain into highball glass over ice.
Garnish with a lemon twist.

WHITE WHISKEY COBBLER

  • 2 oz. of Lincoln County Lightning
  • 4 oz. pineapple juice
  • 1/2 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well. Strain into highball glass over ice.
Garnish with a pineapple slice & orange wheel.

CORNED NEGRONI

  • 1 oz. of Lincoln County Lightning
  • 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 oz. Campari
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

Stir all ingredients in a glass mixing pint, strain into chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with an orange twist.

Single Malt Whiskey Recipes

ROB ROY

  • 2 oz. Tennessee Single Malt Whiskey
  • 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 5 drops Angostura bitters

Combine all ingredients in a glass mixing pint. Stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.

RUSTY NAIL

  • 2 oz. Tennessee Single Malt Whiskey
  • 1/2 oz Drambuie

Build in an old fashion glass over ice. Stir well.
Garnish with an orange twist

BLOOD ON THE PLOW

  • 3/4 oz. Tennessee Single Malt Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 3/4 oz. Peter Herring Cherry
  • 3/4 oz. Fresh Orange juice

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well. Strain into a chilled highball glass over ice.
Garnish with an orange twist.

Sweet Lucy Liqueur Recipes

PRICHARD’S SWEET LUCY JULEP (Horse Racing Version)

  • 2 oz. Benjamin Prichard’s Sweet Lucy
  • Several sprigs of fresh mint
  • Powdered Sugar

In a metal mint julep tumbler, gently press mint and fill tumbler with finely crushed ice.  Add Sweet Lucy and top off tumbler with more crushed ice.  Garnish with sprig of fresh mint first dipped into cold water and then into powdered sugar.

PRICHARD’S SWEET LUCY JULEP (Summer Version)

  • 2 oz. Benjamin Prichard’s Sweet Lucy
  • Several sprigs of fresh mint
  • Powdered Sugar
  • Soda Water

Same basic recipe as above but use a tall, Collins glass instead of the traditional Mint Julep tumbler.  After topping glass off with crushed ice, add a splash of club soda.

PRICHARD’S SWEET LUCY JULEP (Ready Made Version)

Stuff a good sized jar with fresh mint sprigs.  Pour in whole bottle of Sweet Lucy and store it in the refrigerator. Serve up as often as necessary, over ice with or without club soda.

THE QUARTET

  • 2 oz. Prichard’s Sweet Lucy
  • 1/2 oz. Cynar
  • 1/2 oz. Bonal Aperitif
  • 3 drops SRO hops bitters

Stir with ice to chill. Strain into glass to serve.

Rye Whiskey Recipes

PJ's Rye Surprise ( From Ruth's Chris / St. Louis )

  • 1-1/2 oz. Prichard’s Rye Whiskey
  • 1/2 pint of fresh blueberries
  • 3 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
  • Dash of simple syrup

Put all ingredients into blender with crushed ice and pour into tall collins glass.

Tennessee Whiskey Recipes

COMMODORE

1-1/2 oz. Prichard’s Tennessee Whiskey

  • 1 oz. Crème de Cacao
  • 1 oz. lemon juice
  • Dash grenadine

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.

BRAIN DUSTER

1 oz. Prichard’s Tennessee Whiskey

  • 1 oz. Absinthe
  • 1 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • 1 dash bitters

Combine all ingredients in a glass mixing pint. Stir well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a grated nutmeg & black pepper.

SPA JULEP

  • 2 oz. Prichard’s Tennessee Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz. Prichard’s Sweet Lucy
  • 1/4 oz. Wildflower Honey
  • 1 oz. fresh grapefruit juice
  • 6 mint leaves
  • 2 dash grapefruit bitters

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well. Strain into a chilled highball glass over ice.
Garnish with a grapefruit twist & mint sprig

Double Barreled Bourbon Recipes

Old Fashioned

  • 2 oz. Double Barrel Bourbon
  • 2 dash Angostura Bitters
  • 1 dash water
  • 1 sugar cube

Muddle sugar, water & bitters in an old fashion glass. Add ice and spirit and stir.

Garnish with an orange wheel.

Sleepy Hollow

  • 1-1/2 oz. Double Barrel Bourbon
  • 4 slices fresh ginger
  • 1/4 oz. fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz. pumpkin puree

Muddle ginger & lime juice in shaker. Add all other ingredients and shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a toasted pumpkin seeds.

Esquire

  • 2-1/4 oz. Double Barrel Bourbon
  • 3/4 oz. Grand Marnier
  • 1-1/2 tsp orange juice
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 dash Angostura bitters

Combine all ingredients in a shaker. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with a lemon twist.

  • 2 oz. Double Barrel Bourbon
  • 2 oz. Prichard’s Double Chocolate Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz. Sweet Vermouth
  • Fresh Lemonade
  • Muddled cherries and lemons

Served on the rocks.
